About Section 2 Hom-A-Gen Farm

Section 2, with 181.68 acres, is the largest of the four sections for sale. It has about 90 acres of fine grass meadows that produce tons of excellent hay. The borders of Section 2 are covered with forests that make up approximately 76 more acres. The entire section is totally private. Section 2 has elevations of 500 feet to 600 feet above sea level, giving the entire section marvelous views in all four directions.

A major creek flows by the entire southern and eastern borders of Section 2.We built a 15-acre pond to control flooding. At the highest elevation, the views are really spectacular.

There is an excellent shop building with three bays, each with 14-foot doors. The shop has an office, a half bath, heat, and a fine well and septic. We added a 20-foot wide shed roof that is 30 feet long to store farm equipment. The electricity to the shop is buried.

Near the southern border of Section 2 there is a beautiful soft ball diamond and a three-acre, college level, irrigated soccer field with its own well. To reach Section 2 from Shady Grove Road, one enters through a gate at the front of Section 3. We built a well-maintained gravel road through all of Sections 2 and 3. If you want a true show place in the country you must see both Sections 2 and 3. Section 2 is $635,775, which is $3,500 per acre.
